Delicious, fresh bagels baked more than once a day. Love going up here. The staff is outstanding and the food never disappoints.

Typically very good service. . Can work on the communication A little... They need to guide their customers through the process smoother.. more of a training issue IMO. . Other than that I like it.

I recently moved back to Louisville from Cincinnati, where I first had Bruegger's and was ecstatic to find out there was one in Louisville. Let me say, it did not disappoint. As soon as you walk in your mood will automatically improve as the smell of fresh bagels encompasses you. They always have fresh bagels with what seems like an endless variety of flavors. I would like to personally recommend the everything bagel. Bruegger's is the breakfast bagel version of Subway. Starting at the beginning you choose your bagel then whatever topping you could imagine. I would like to highly recommend the Western (Comes with It comes with egg and bacon) on an everything bagel with the veggies of your choice. I love coming here for breakfast, might not be the most healthy but it is oh so good.

Nothing smells more inviting on a cold Saturday morning than the wafting of a toasted bagel. Bruegger's in St Matthews just opened recently, so several friends and I decided to meet there for a Saturday morning brunch. The location was bustling with customers and new employees. At one worker's recommendation, I had the Asiago and Parmesean bagel with a generous filling of cream cheese. Friendly customers, toasty environment, and delicious coffee and bagels make this a welcome addition to the inviting St Matthews breakfast scene!

I came in on a whim this morning, craving breakfast food. I wasn't disappointed. There was no line and the guy behind the counter for me a paper menu right away (I forgot my glasses and couldn't read the board). I ordered a simple egg and cheese on an Asiago Parmesan bagel, and it was awesome. I'm usually more of an everything bagel kind of person, but I think I have a new favorite. The cashier was super friendly and seemed happy to be here. My food came out fast and I ate it almost as fast. My only complaint is that I didn't order two, because it was so good.

Good place to go for breakfast on weekends - fast, friendly service and wide selection of freshly baked bagels. One of the few places open on a Sunday morning in St Matthews and the nearby Crescent Hill area. Here are some of the items I've sampled: Better Bacon Cheddar Bagel - 4 out of 5 Single Whole Wheat Bagel with Egg - 3.5 out of 5 Jalapeno Bagel - 4 out of 5 Croissant - 4.5 out of 5 I know I've been to Bruegger's a few other times before but I can't for the life of me recall what I ordered those times. However, I've enjoyed every breakfast stop I've made here. NOTE: Saturday mornings are awfully crowded, with the line all the way to the entrance.

I've been looking for a bagel sandwich place in Louisville for a couple months now and FINALLY found it!! I've tried other places but they don't even compare. This place is awesome! Bagels are fresh and the sandwich options are delicious! I always ask for extra sauce and their rice crispy treats are amazing too. Staff has always been super friendly and I've never had to wait in line because I've only gone at off hours. The Western on cinnamon sugar bagel is my favorite! Love this place and I'll be a customer for life! Don't forget to get your bagel stamp card, after your 10th sandwich the 11th is free! :)

I'm a transplant from NYC and I like Bruegger's Bagels better than any bagel I ever ate back in NYC, The Bagel Capital! I have always received the best customer service here and have always been served the perfect bagel. I love their Bagel Wednesday Deal and that you can phone in your order in advance.

It's no Panarea, but I love supporting good local businesses. This is certainly one. Wonderful staff, great OJ, but so-so bagels. Will go back tho!

I used a Groupon here and got a great bagel sandwich on a garlic bagel with turkey, tomatoes and cheese. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Will be back.

My friend talked me into going here on the fourth of July for breakfast and it was my first time there, I wanted Baby D's. I went up to look at the menu and decided on a sandwich and told the guy, I requested no tomato and no bacon, I can't eat pork for medical reasons and he said no problem. I received my food and there was bacon on it. I let him know and he told me he'd go remake it. I didn't get the memo that said remaking it now meant 'I'm going to remove the wrapper, peel of the bacon, sit the sandwich on top of the old wrapper and hand it back to you.' I figured whatever the bacon's gone, I eat half and since it had blueberry and chipotle mayo on it any other taste was gone, when I got to the outer edge it tasted like bacon. I inspected the other half before eating and there were specks of bacon. The guy had just smugly walked outside and I'm glad because I would've been tempted to punch him knowing I might end up sick and stuck in bed that festive night. Another worker was at the table next to us talking and she came over, I let her know and and she told her manager. The manager was the most apologetic understanding person I've ever met in the restaurant industry, they gave me a refund and remade my food, he offered the higher up managers number and said to call if I needed anything later. As we were leaving he offered us bagels and other things to take with us, he definitely made me feel better and I will be returning soon, but if that smug little bastard is there, I'm walking out and coming back later.

Great new operation. They are rookies at making the sandwiches but that will change. Fresh looking foods being prepared perfectly in front of you Parking is terrible! May be the achilles for their long term success.

I embarrassed to admit, but I don't quite understand the bagel thing. Like, I like bagels as a vehicle to get cream cheese in my mouth, but overall I don't understand bagel sandwiches. (and what EXACTLY is an everything bagel?) A couple gal friends I have meet for what we like to call "fleur de fork" or "breakfast club" once a month - we meet for breakfast out on a Thursday morning. I look forward to the outings but this Thursday we had to meet at a spot close to Lexington Rd because one of the gals works in a boutique over there. Don't worry, I'm recruiting them to become yelpers, too. So here I am at Bruegger's. I'm standing at the counter with a line forming behind me - I panicked and order a breakfast bagel, skinny, wheat, with turkey sausage, egg white, and cheddar. I get to the pay counter and realize...what if I don't like it? I had investigated the online menu before I got there and didn't see what I thought I wanted. I ordered a iced coffee cooler (mocha). Breakfast bagel turned out AOK by me. It was fine. It came in a basket which made it look smaller and like I should have ordered a side. What kind of side would you even get? I'm confused. I secretly was thinking the whole time how I could have got 4 sausage biscuits and an ice coffee from McDonalds and liked it a little better for the same $8 I spent here. My iced coffee cooler had excess syrup that made it very rich (maybe I should have suggested easy on their syrup or made sure they use nonfat? again, I was panicked). Environment was great though! I love warm, clean places. There were about 4 or 5 individuals working on their laptops (or maybe yelping/facebooking, who really knows?) and one what-looked-like-a-business-meet up. Next time, I'll stick to the cream cheese route or gladly let bagel fanatics order in front of me while I take my time. If bagels sandwiches are your thing and you're in St. Matts, go for it.

First visit. Love it. Good vibes from the people down to the decor. Falon built my bagel, fully loaded with lox, chive shmear, yadda yadda, and it was perfect. Good snap to it. Reminds me of home. They also have salads and deli style sammies. I'll try the pastrami next time. Free wifi Lot parking Lots of seating with booths. Catering available. I'll be back. Go here.

The people are very nice and helpful, but you really don't get the bang for your buck here. There's just not a lot of food for the price that you pay and the food really isn't that good to be paying as much.

The perfect place for a casual breakfast or brunch! Brueggers had all your typical bagel varieties that you'd expect, and a good amount of cream cheeses & toppings. They have a menu of bagel sandwiches, however you are also able to customize your order. Definitely recommend the coffee as well!

I went on a lady date here the other day because we were wanting some carbs :) I had just come from a yoga class so I was starving but wanted something a little lighter. Let me tell you, their Zesty Egg White bagel hit the spot! It had a turkey sausage patty, egg whites, and swiss cheese plus your choice of cream cheese! I got the bacon scallion because everything's better with bacon. And I got a whole wheat bun, skinny style. What's that you ask, skinny style? Yeah, it's a thing. They cut out the middle part of the bagel so you're left with the top and bottom, you feel like you're being bad having those yummy carbs, but it's not as many as you would normally have! Best of both worlds going on right there. I will for sure be going back to try out their lunch items!!
